thoughts on the third Sunday of Advent
The financial crisis means that began with so many contemporaries concentrate minds. Greed is the issue, "full get the neck is not" of, by "golden handshake" in excess. But is it so surprising that the madness reigns, and people stop at nothing when it comes to maximized Self-interest is?
The turbo-capitalism has led to the establishment of systems to which enormous importance was recognized. The businesses of banking, insurance and even multinational companies based on the fact that largely lives are destroyed. All over the world people are working to inhumane conditions, are exploited, cheated, ignored law, cheated their wages. In return, managers have the sun shine on your belly, fattening in luxury restaurants and fly from A to B to C at the expense of others.
injustice arises out of the system disconnects the money-making performance. Million people to flay in unbearable Conditions day by day, and speak to the meager pay their lives are going to just completely inadequate. On the butter side of life landed Sunshine Boys play Monopoly with real money, and it put off in case of failure with a few Milliƶnchen. The gap between rich and poor is day after day for more.
At Christmas time there are some fundraisers who raise a little money for the people living on the edge of society. For banks, there is money in abundance, if the financial crisis to the economic boom to a standstill. To ensure further artificial growth, there are some "financial help" for impoverished banks, and then the share prices rise again. What would Jesus say to the enrichment at the expense of individual traders was humiliated and offended people a thorn in the eye?
Every person in this world has a right to live a decent life. The point is not that people accumulate money and then play out "mercy" once at Christmas time the great big shot. If only 10% of the banks now provided money (or the equivalent value) if the people who really need it, poverty would get at a few years. But the rich and powerful need of the poor, because only by their extravagance, their greed and their claims can be maintained. The powdered into the banks money will not benefit the poor people, but almost all of those who are most responsible for this fiasco.
For Jesus redistribution would be a matter of course. He was not about to reverse the situation, but to move rightly. His chances that he could succeed this today when he returned to the earth would be very small. People with vision do not fit into the world of capitalism with all the resulting parameters. Now it is time that people take and / or their corporate social responsibility, the donation of (large) go to charity at Christmas time to come. Otherwise, the collapse sooner or later inevitable.
