Cute Profile About Me

writers women and men

My little insights into literary universes me make clear that the relationship between authors, with whom I have engaged myself in more detail and employment, is very unbalanced. A glance at my bookshelves impressive evidence that a good 90, maybe even my 95% of the books in my possession were written by men, suggesting is that for female authors than 10% or less stay left.

behaves Why so? It is known that women generally like to read, and much, much to their expected high. Comparatively few men to form more literary, nor even a few men often remain stuck in low newspapers. Are there other more authors than female authors? No, I do not think not. Oh, and I'm just the question dodged why I want so few books by women in my book shelves ...

... an attempt to explain: I have only a few (maybe 20 or 25) favorite authors, whose work I most of or have read. My favorite female authors are countable on one hand. Well, of course, could be due to that I can identify with the main characters of my favorite male authors a little, and this with female characters is not so easy. Nevertheless, some women are clearly part of my literary universes and I will incorporate these wonderful women writers in my literary sketches. Name I tell the time being of course not ...

Yes, if my answer is correct or only one small aspect of the "phenomenon" covers that I have only a few authors in the course of my life in more detail (in relation to their work) to know , I can not judge. In any event, including some books by authors, to my absolute favorite reading them and the proper place of this blog will fill sooner or later I take my time before.

I would be interested so, how this allocation formula looks at other men who share a closer look with literature, and whether women may be just the opposite is defined? If women read this post, I would be very happy if they comment on it or contact directly by email to me. Well, if some man does not fall into this pattern, only with her arguments ...
