literary universe, Part 9: Reinhard P. Gruber

In the commercial college, I had the to get lucky, "From the Life Hoedlmoser" assigned as reading material. Perhaps one of the funniest stories I have ever read.
The division of the novel in a transcendent and an immanent version is possibly unique in the history of literature. Moreover, these guthin around the Styrian regional novel.

The first contact with an oblique story meant that I wanted to know more by this author. And I found one. A year later, I read "No more work" and was as fascinated as the "Hödlmoser. Of course, the two novels compare impossible, but the comedy and all manner of sparkling ideas create a powerful reading experience.

Hödlmoser is an anti-hero and Schivkov can be in the same drawer lock. Of course, the two figures would rebel if they are deprived of their free space. Hödlmoser would have no way to go hunting, and Schivkov would be forced to be idle, where he still preferred informal, to be idle. Basically Schivkov is an anti-capitalist, and he would be seen at every event these days of globalization opponents like. As one of the foremost proponents Attac he would make a good figure.

was much later I still read "In the name of the Father". This novel about a Relationship between father and son, the father of all his wishes for a better life projected onto his son is a nightmarish piece of literature, and there remains a different tone than in the wonderful parodies with Hödlmoser Schivkov and in the lead roles.
